Dr. Bernd Kotschi is a recognized strategy consultant and multi-award-winning interim executive (AIMP Interim Manager of the Year 2025 – Gold) with more than 18 years of experience in developing and scaling digital business models at the intersection of smart consumer electronics, energy, technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
As KOTSCHI CONSULTING, he supports OEMs, utilities, and technology companies in their transformation toward data-driven, AI-enabled business models – from strategy and execution to successful market implementation.
He has led major programs for leading companies such as SMA Solar Technology, Vaillant Group, E.ON, LichtBlick, Deutsche Telekom, and STABL Energy, where he built digital, innovation, and product management units, introduced agile stage-gate processes for hardware and SaaS platforms, and coordinated complex technology and partner ecosystems across Smart Home & Buildings, Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS), flexibility management, and BESS.
His focus lies in bridging business model innovation, product management, and technology architecture.
